MELEKA JOLLIFF

Meleka Jolliff founded MMJ Events in 2009 and has since been recognized in top publications such as Inside Weddings, Brides, and Martha Stewart, among others.

Her passion for event design and planning was cultivated from an early age (7th grade to be exact) as she clipped images from bridal magazines into her notebooks to create the perfect event. Meleka has a unique eye for design, and an ability to mix personal touches with beautiful details.

Her love of travel awakens inspiration for curating custom and artful event experiences for her clients. In addition, she finds inspiration from the collaborations and friendships developed with the teams creative partners.

Most importantly, Meleka knows this company is a blessing. She and her team always strive to glorify God, through their gifts.

With a deeply creative eye and 5+ years of coordination experience, Esther brings a refined, thoughtful approach to wedding and event planning. Known for her calm, steady presence, she seamlessly manages a wide range of personalities throughout the planning process, ensuring every detail is handled with clarity, grace, and intention.

Warmly confident and exceptionally reliable, Esther has a natural ability to build trust with her clients while translating their vision into beautifully executed experiences. Her balanced blend of creativity and organization allows her to navigate complex logistics with ease, delivering polished, high-touch events that feel effortless, personal, and impeccably tailored.

As Lead Designer and Director of Sales, Jessie is the creative force behind transforming ideas into unforgettable, visually striking events. She is known to approach designs with intention and precision, believing that truly memorable events are both aesthetically refined and emotionally impactful. Her work is rooted in storytelling, ensuring each design feels personal, elevated, and deeply aligned with her clients’ vision while leaving a lasting impression on every guest in the room. Clients who select a design-focused package work directly with Jessie to develop a cohesive, immersive experience tailored exclusively to them.

In her role overseeing sales, Jessie serves as a trusted guide from the very first conversation. She values transparency, clear communication, and alignment—helping clients understand not only what’s possible, but what will best serve their goals. With a thoughtful, honest approach, she ensures expectations are clear, visions are aligned, and every client feels confident in both the creative process and the team bringing it to life.

KATE GIDDINGS

Kate runs Aiden & Grace, our sister company, and helps curate collections of event rentals. After being the lead marketer and recruiter for her university’s Dance Marathon, Kate fell in love with events and all the elements that bring them together. After interning with MMJ Events in 2018, Kate came on full time and has been refining her eye for design ever since.

Whether you need the perfect chaise lounge or a small detail that wows, Kate is your go-to girl. While she may not be with you during your planning process, she loves helping curate mood decks to find the perfect piece to complement your special day’s design.
